Candle Care and Safety Tips

  • Upon first burn of your new candle, burn for 4 hours or until the entire surface has turned to liquid wax. This will help prolong the life of the candle.
  • Always trim wick to 1/4" before each lighting.
  • Do not burn more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Always burn candles on a hard, stable surface.
  • Extinguish candle if it repeatedly smokes, flickers, or the flame is too high. There may be drafts in the room or the wick needs to be trimmed.
  • Keep wax pool free from the wick and other debris at all times.
  • Always burn candles away from drafts, other heat sources, and anything flammable.
  • Keep burning candles away from children, pets, and other flammable materials.
  • Discontinue use of the candle when 1/2" of wax remains at the bottom of the jar. This will prevent possible damage to the surface or jar itself.
  • Never move a burning candle. Melted wax is very hot and will burn you.
